Installing and setting up your own network can be both time consuming and tricky, especially for those of us with little or no experience. PCSdesign On Site want you to get the most out of your PC purchase as soon as possible, and that's why we're offering various Setup Services. After your computer arrives, a 'Rep' will visit your home or Office to expertly set up your brand new PC.

Basic Home/Office Network Setup Includes:
- Set up of your new router to your Internet Service Provider (Note Dial-Up is not supported)
- Configuration of your network to the latest security standards
- Connect your primary computer to the router
- Test and troubleshoot any wireless devices on the same floor as the router
- PLUS Connect up to 2 additional devices (wired or wireless-ready computers) - an Additional Value of up to $100!

Basic Home/Office Network Setup Does NOT Include:
- Running, fishing, supplying or installing additional network cable
- Sharing files, folders, printers, etc

On Site New PC Setup (Basic) $100.00

Installing and setting up your PC can be both time consuming and tricky, especially for those of us with little or no experience.

Basic Setup Includes:
- Unhook your old PC
- Unpack and verify that your shipment is complete
- Set up your new PC
- Reconnect the Internet
- Activate and update any bundled/installed software (Internet is usually required for this step)
- Setup your new PC for automatic updates and install all critical updates
- Provide you with security software choices
- Basic tutorial (if required) on locating major computer components and functions such as your power button, CD-ROM and USB ports
- Basic tutorial (if required) to help get started using your computer's operating system and basic functions like shutting down, browsing the Internet, reading your email, locating your files and connecting to the Internet
- PLUS setup any bundled peripherals that came with your new PC - an additional value of up to $165 (depending on the number of peripherals)

Basic Setup Does NOT Include:
- New router installations (wired or wireless) and/or home networking
- Network-related problems having to do with routers, wireless connectivity and cabling
- Adding the new PC back into an existing network and sharing folders, printers, etc.
- Disposal or removal of old equipment and packing material
- Supplying cables or other installation items (USB cables, power bars, etc)
- Additional visits or troubleshooting
- Data transfer from old computer(s) to new computer

Setting Up An Appointment With PCSdesign

Contact PCSdesign service@pcsdesign.ca , before your computer arrives from place of purchase or at PCSdesign, to review the details of this service, verify your contact and address information, and to schedule an installation appointment. We will provide you with a direct contact number where you can reach him or her in case you need to reschedule for any reason. Appointments are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. After hours appointments are subject to PCSdesign availability on weekdays from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

- PLUS Setup a new email account in Outlook, Outlook Express or Microsoft Mail - an additional value of up to $125!
- PLUS Install up to 3 compatible peripherals that you already own - an additional value of up to $300!

Premium Setup Does NOT Include:
